Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is Donorfull?

Donorfull was created to develop and market mobile and Internet technologies exclusively for non-profit organizations to help non-profits raise more money, better manage volunteers, and encourage advocacy. We are four partners: David Addison, Victoria Kuhn, Sondra Lintelmann-Dellaripa, and David Slone with collectively nearly 100 years of experience in social media, interactive Web applications and philanthropy.

What does the name mean?

Simply put, our goal is to see that every charity we work with is “full of donors.” We aim to do that by developing and providing mobile marketing and fundraising for non-profits at the lowest reasonable cost to you.

What are your products?

We offer mobile websites, QR codes, and a gift portal. We design our products to be turnkey, that is, you register, make your payment arrangements, select your products, and you’re off and running.

What is a QR code?

qrcode

A QR code is a type of “matrix” barcode or two-dimensional code composed of a series of black modules that, when scanned, transports the scanner to any variety of portals including your giving platform.

How does the gift portal work?

We provide a portal on your mobile site where constituents can make an online pledge or charitable contribution using a credit card or through PayPal.

Why do I need a mobile site?

It is maddening to try and read the frames of the standard website with a Smartphone. Thus, the best practice is to offer a mobile site too. You can extract what is important and what you think is suitable to viewing mobile, and then develop a new mobile-friendly site at an incredibly low cost.

Is this mobile technology just another passing fad?

Mobile technology accessed through Smartphones is for real. Smartphone sales outsold cell phones in 2010. Sales of new Smartphones are now greater than the sale of new desktop and laptop computers. More people are working and spending time on their Smartphone and they are growing increasingly comfortable purchasing through mobile technology.

We invested a lot of money into our existing website. How will it work with a mobile site?

You will need to maintain a website for those users who wish to view a non-profit’s site on a computer or a laptop. Your mobile site extends your reach to your constituents who are mobile.

Our past attempts at online giving have been mediocre. What makes your technology different?

Many non-profits have failed at gaining any traction in online and social media fundraising. A Facebook page by itself is not a mobile giving or social media strategy. Donorfull assists your organization by creating a giving portal that enables people to engage with your brand in a way in which they are comfortable, whether to learn more about your charity, make a pledge or make a contribution.

How much do your products cost?

We do not have prices finalized at this time, but the entry level pricing will be under $20 per month to create your first QR code and mobile site.

Are you consultants as well?

We understand that there are non-profits who wish to access our talents to create their QR codes and mobile site and to develop a mobile fundraising strategy that includes social media. We will offer organization, campaign and interactive strategy and management too.
